Skincare Brand Session | Lotion & Love Co.

 

 

I first stumbled upon this skincare company when I was shopping at our other brand J Kelley Designs.

Lotion and Love Co. is a vendor within J Kelley Designs.

They carry the most amazing non-toxic hand-made skincare products, and let me tell you they are all amazing and I am obsessed with every single product they have!

From hand-whipped body lotion, body scrub, lotions, soaps, lip balm, headache balm, sleep support oil, and one of my personal favorites for the horrible Florida bugs- bug repellent lotion bars, they literally have something for everyone!

Taylor is the owner of Lotion and Love Co. and she is the absolute sweetest person.

She was born and raised here in Panama City, FL, and began her company a year ago.

I was really surprised when she told me that.

You would think she’d been doing this for years because of how well-made all of her products are.

 

 

This was one of my first full Skincare Brand Sessions and I am obsessed with how beautiful they turned out.

I found inspirational photos and created a mood board before the session, when I sent it to Taylor she was like “OMG yes I am so excited! I love these!”

My goals for this skincare brand session were simple:

• Create bright and crisp brand imagery that showcases her beauty products.
• Capture headshots and imagery that incorporate Taylor- to build trust with her customers and really create brand imagery that they can see and know as hers.
• Create relatable brand photos that get her customers to envision her skincare products in their lives and their daily skincare routines.

 

The Skincare Brand Session for Lotion and Love Company was so fun.

I loved adding in fresh peppermint and dried lavender to my styled flat-lays to showcase some of the product’s ingredients. It made the studio smell so amazing.

My favorite soap is hands down the spiced pumpkin with the oatmeal soap base.

The scent of them both together is absolutely divine.

The sleep support oil helps with my anxiety and helps me relax and sleep more soundly.

So many amazing skincare products- so little time!
