Adventures in Small Business Product Photography in Panama City | Unveiling My Most Epic Photographer Tale!

Let me spill the beans on how I didn’t exactly dive into the wild world of small business product photography in Panama City right from the get-go.

My journey kicked off by capturing families and weddings down in the heart of Texas.

As the camera love grew, I found myself knee-deep in the magic of luxury portraiture, specializing in creating these jaw-dropping heirloom artworks.

Now, picture this – I was on cloud nine capturing the love stories of wedding couples. Turning their portraits into stunning wall art? Oh, that was my JAM! But it didn’t stop there. Meeting my family clients, capturing their whole crew, and turning those moments into gigantic wall portraits? It was my passion!

I mean, seriously, it made my heart do a victory dance – the kind that makes you feel like you’re on top of the world. 🌟💃

But here’s the plot twist – my most challenging moment appeared out of the blue a few years back.

At the peak of clients flying me all over the world to capture their weddings and families, a mysterious illness decided to join the party.

Cue the constant anxiety about falling ill and having to cancel and book a replacement for a booked client session or wedding. Thankfully, I never had to do the replacement shuffle, but that anxiety was a constant companion.

 

It happened over and over as I dealt with what became my unknown chronic illness.

Every few months I would get sick and become so depleated.

I found myself in a health rollercoaster, hitting a low point where my weight plummeted to a shocking 83 lbs.

Can you imagine? I was physically unable to keep up with the demands of weddings and family sessions, and it hit me hard.

 

It was, without a doubt, one of the lowest points in my career.

I felt like I lost my footing in my world of photography, and I was left wondering, “Who am I without my camera in hand?”

But lo and behold, the universe had other plans.

Enter brand photography, my knight in shining armor.

With the flexibility it offered, I started shooting friends and family as models, gradually diving into the world of brand clients.

It hit me like a pillowcase full of soap – this was my true calling.

Building up my AMC model database and upgrading to a new house with an on-property portrait studio, I made the leap to full-time brand photography in 2023. Let me tell you, it was the best decision of my life!

Now, I get to meet the most incredible brand owners, helping them grow while enjoying quality time with their families.

My brand studio is buzzing with joy and fulfillment, and it all sprouted from my most challenging moment.
