I was so excited to capture Laura and Max’s Island Beachside Wedding at The Island Resort Okaloosa Island.

After months and months of planning together, chatting together and rescheduling due to covid, we made it to their day!

You may recognize them from their video session on their original wedding day(rescheduled due to covid). One of the most ridiuculous things I’ve ever done but 2020 is the new “anything goes year” right?

On the day of the wedding, Max met me at my car, gave me a huge hug and insisted on helping me unload my gear.

I was literally like “OMG I love you already!”

When I finally saw them in person, I felt like I had already known them most of my life.

Like we were all old friends just hanging out and joking around.

One of the first things I noticed when I walked into the bridal suite was two longboards leaned against the wall.

I asked Laura and she said they belong to her and Max!

I was like “Oh! I’m using these!”

Perfect addition to the wedding details!

Laura’s wedding gown was so unique.

It had a built in choker and let me tell you- Laura rocked that shit.

She was such a show stopping, gorgeous bride.

Laura shared a first look with her dad and it was so sweet.

I love how dads become so emotional over their sweet baby girls becoming brides.

Their Island beachside wedding was beautiful. An absolutely beautiful beach day.

Max grinned ear to ear with the biggest smile as Laura walked down the aisle to him.

They shared the funniest ceremony by one of my favorite officiants ever- Officiant Doug.

If you want your officiant to actually sit you down and find out your story and what matters most to you both so you can have a wedding ceremony custom to you and your honey- you need to call Doug.

Their reception was full of so much laughter and dancing.

I snuck Max and Laura out around sunset time to get some dreamy sunset portraits.

We saw the cutest lab playing fetch with her owner and obviously we asked to pet her.

She hopped in a few pictures with us.

Meet sweet little Macy.

They truly enjoyed their day together 100%- and that’s what it’s all about.
